I have found data sets that pertain to social media and politics. The data set about Congress Rhetoric shows how Congress members used Facebook after Trump's election in 2016. This data set includes the political party, the number of posts, and how many posts were in opposition or in support. With this particular data set, we can see whether more Democrats or Republicans utilize Facebook as a form of spreading their opinions, and how many post do Republican and Democrat politicians post. This data set was found on Pew Research Center, which is a reputable source.

Another data set found is one pertaining to the sentiments of twitter users after the first GOP debate. This data set shows which candidate the twitter user targeted and whether they felt positively or negatively about the candidate. This can be used to show whether politicians with high social media usage differ in public sentiments from politicians who have less social media presence. This data set was found on Data World.

There are also other data sets that include tweets from politicians and how the politicians use their twitter, but the file was too big to upload. These data sets can be used to analyze how different politicians use social media in different ways.
